The Gift of Orange

(っ◔◡◔)っ  Orange is the color of joy and creativity, it also connotes success, health, and enjoyment. 

As for me, I am always reminded of Coast Guard Rescue Boat when I think of the color orange. What a gift to remember that someone is there to rescue you when you are in danger.

In my life, I learned that rescue means having a team and a #gamily who will be there when you are at your lowest and will always cheer you when you are at your best.

Time for Some Greens

I’ve got some AHA moments today! Sharing here …

You know how many people struggle to eat healthily and they say “I don’t have time for” blah, blah, blah!?!

As a Life Coach, I am also busy doing Coaching Programs, attending coaching classes, talks, and content inside Rise Up Creatives but come to think of it, having some greens or fresh produce as part of your meal ain’t really hard to do.

Daily Reminder

10,000 Experiment Rule

𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙛𝙞𝙧𝙨𝙩 10,000 𝙥𝙝𝙤𝙩𝙤𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙥𝙝𝙨 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙨𝙩. – 𝙃𝙚𝙣𝙧𝙞 𝘾𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙞𝙚𝙧-𝘽𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙤𝙣

How many photographs have you tried doing so far?

Me? I have more than 40,000 photos (including the screenshot from classes) on my phone but in my profession, I have 20 experiments for the coaching workshop that I’ll be launching this month.

When Thomas Edison was inventing the light bulb, one of the things that separated him from his competitors was that he did thousands and thousands of experiments in a very short period and if you look at today’s most successful companies, all of them have performed thousands and tens of thousands of experiments.

Thus, in my rapidly changing field of Life Coaching, I believe that the 10,000 experiment rule is more valuable than the 10,000-hour rule.

Not So Still Life

Do you have broken pieces of art that you still keep for a reason?

Do you feel connected with something that gives you the energy you need to endure difficulties in life and move on?

I have this trophy that was awarded to me in 2006 that I still keep because this was the reward I received when I was chosen as one of the Ten Outstanding Red Cross Youth of the Philippines. It always reminds me of the contribution I have done when I was younger.

Not all broken is for disposal, sometimes, it only takes time to repair, like a broken relationship!!! What are your thoughts about repair works? Share in the comment …

The Question

The Question: “𝙎𝙤, 𝙬𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙙𝙤 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙙𝙤 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙖 𝙡𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙜?” can be tough at times … do you agree?

Either it’s genuine admiration (“Oh, really? That’s great!”) … or some level of skepticism with the follow-up question of “How are you doing it? How is it possible being an engineer and a Life Coach?”

Few people know deeply the work that I do and it’s not an easy thing to explain things about my life but to put it simply, I live a life of pursuing your mission and purpose because of my chosen profession.

Raise A Toast

One of my goals for this year was to branch out into doing more coaching workshops.

Cue Card Please

What do you do when you feel under the weather?

Cue cards or note cards are cards with words written on them that help you remember what you need to say …

An important set of cue cards that I keep on file have topics that “describe a time when I helped someone” and here are the sample questions I have in it:

Recently, I had some down moments and my cue cards helped me to remember how I supported a friend by sharing some ways on how she can communicate with her previous employer for the release of her back pay.
